Why Join?

National Business Honor Society at Middleton High School is a club that will take you as far as you take it. This flexibility is what makes this club truly special. There are not many required activities to be a member, but this honor society will also provide opportunities such as the opportunity to meet with local business experts and participate in their seminars to competing in local business challenges.

If you choose, you can pay your dues and become a member to show your academic achievement in business. But you can also, take it a step further and introduce new opportunities to students and make an impact in the school and local community.

How to Join

Join NBHS and participate in a variety of competitions including the teen business challenge hosted by computer mentors. Who qualifies? Any high school junior or senior who has completed or is currently enrolled in his/her third business course and has a 3.0 (overall) and 3.5 (business course) GPA.

What is a business course? Any magnet program course at Middleton with the exception of biomedical science courses are considered a business course. Business courses include all courses in engineering, computer engineering, and game design.


For Biomedical Students

Are you a Biomedical Student? No Worries! There are many other business courses that qualify. Some examples are economics classes or public speaking. If you have taken any business related course, you also qualify. If you have any questions about what qualifies, ask Mr. Akinrefon.
